New Years Resolutions are a popular thing this time of the year. A lot of people proclaim these resolutions and statistically a lot of people give up on their resolutions a few weeks after starting. There are many potential reasons why people give up on their resolutions, one might be in the tradition of proclaiming them. This video does a really good job of explaining what I mean. The reason why I wanted to share this video is because I wanted everyone (myself included) to either be reminded or to learn about this particular quirk of the human brain. The second reason I wrote this post was to encourage everyone to continue to improve and even if your original 'resolution' was to lofty or unattainable figure out something you can daily that gets you closer to who you want to be.
